As one of the newest members of 56° North, I’m excited to be working alongside so many fascinating clients on really important and influential campaigns across both Westminster and Holyrood.
So far, I have thoroughly enjoyed supporting clients with their stakeholder engagement and developing exciting plans for events with catered strategic aims and goals. Overall, supporting clients with their political engagement and public affairs program is something I find immensely rewarding.
Prior to 56° North, I worked for one of Scotland’s largest independent charities where I engaged with governments both nationally and internationally on some of the largest pieces of social legislation in Scottish political history. I’ve also built the foundations of my career working with a range of Yorkshire MPs and Mayors helping to develop successful election campaign strategies and electable policy positions that span from transport policy to education policy.
And… I was once on Estonian radio to discuss my dissertation; except they couldn’t understand me and my Yorkshire accent and didn’t believe I was speaking English!
